REBs – Moving Forward

Our mission: identify and defend against political actions that threaten the fundamental tenets of what American stands for:

Freedom to speak freely without fear of retribution
Freedom to choose what is right for our bodies
Freedom to choose political representation
Freedom to reside under a judicial system that is not weaponized for political gain

We believe every individual has the right and freedom to pursue the American Dream.

Without restrictions
Regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicity or other defining characteristic

We will support and advance our mission by focusing on the following three pillars of activity. All to be championed, implemented and powered by our membership.

Pillar #1: Activism

Reverse, stop or delay an action that is counter to our mission

Calling/visiting political representatives
Writing postcards/phone banking
Marches, rallies and protests

Pillar #2: Activism

Identify and support CT political representatives who LEAD, not FOLLOW

Support and champion leaders who lean into
their communities.
Create a quarterly report card of the voting activity
Support candidates that challenge entitled incumbents
Track and report on the voting record of our representatives

Pillar #3: Communication

REBs will use social media to spread truth

Fight the lies and misleading statements by the Republican party
Create easy, quick and engaging education worthy of sharing
Test messaging and strategies to determine which are the most effective

In Summary:

All of our actions will be aimed at accomplishing the following goals: Stop the Red Wave in 2026 and 2028 – win back Congress (2026) and the White House (2028). Remove ineffective Democratic elders and make way for young blood that can identify with everyday Americans. Support leadership that is committed to what is right rather than fear for their political longevity. Collaborate with other resistance organizations to further common goals, reduce redundancy and leverage the power of numbers.
